Jack Murray is first and foremost a husband and father. Jack chose to be a financial advisor to accomplish his two highest priorities: 1) provide a comfortable and flexible life for his family and 2) use his natural gifts of service and compassion to help dramatically change his client’s financial life.

Jack's passion for financial planning started when he was getting his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho, where he studied finance. Jack absorbed every piece of content he could on financial planning and decided that fee-only financial planning best aligned with his ethics and standards. He started his career at Merrill-Lynch as a client service representative and quickly learned that there was a lot more to his clients’ financial life than just investments. So, after being in the industry for over 3 years, he joined Intermountain Wealth Management, where his scope of advice far reaches that of a corporate position. He believes the largest impact he can bring to his clients is helping with anything from debt management to estate planning.

Outside of work, Jack prioritizes spending time with his wife McKinley and children (Jackson age 3, and Brooklyn 6 months old). He loves working out and trying to live an overall healthy life. When time permits, he loves to golf and hunt. Jack is currently pursing his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Certification.
